Zirconium Yttrium Oxide Powder
Main candidate of the new generation of zirconia powders for advanced thermal barrier coatings is the ZrO2-Y2O3 powder with 6-8%Y2O3-content.Besides there are still those with 20% Y2O3 and for special applications ZrO2-Y2O3 powder being moaified with Al2O3,TiO2 or SiO2,or ZrO2-powders which instead of Y2O3 contain other rare earth oxides.
