Abstract:Oxidation resistance coatings prepared by plasma spraying process on the surface ofworkpiece can improve oxidation resistance. The study ofoxidation resistance coatings and thermal resistance coatingswas overviewed. The organizational characters and properties of oxidation resistance coatings of intermetallics andMCrAlY, and oxidation resistance principle of them by plasma spraying processwere reviewed. Three influencing factors of thermal resistance coatingswere emphasized. Failuremechanism related toTGO of thermal coatingswas analyzed. The existing problems ofoxidation resistance coatingswere proposed and the solutions of these problems were suggested. In addition, the application prospects of oxidation resistance coatingswere discussed.
