Abstract: Car exhaust is one of the main sources of air pollution. In order to reduce harms to people and the environment brought by exhaust pollution, the new surface coating materials for automobile exhaust degradation was developed. The preparation process of photocatalytic nano rare -earth materials by precipitation is improved, as well as the manufactural technology of the coating material on pavement. The optimum dosage of coating material is determined with the indoor surface friction coefficient test and wear test. The results indicate that the nano material prepared is of size at around 50nm and of good dispersion; the optimum dosage range of coating materials is 300g/m2~600g/m2.
