Abstract： Wear and corrosion resistance of metal material were improved by cast-infiltration metal surface coating. Preparation technology, coating category as well as merit and disadvantage of cast-infiltration coating were introduced. The new progress of the technology in the world was summarized and the development prospect about the technology were explored.
