Abstract: The nano-coating CeO2 films were deposited on Ni substrates by one step MOD method caused the surface of CeO2 films to crack easily. An advanced method two step method was employed to prepare the protected film, the XRD and SEM was used to show the results. The results indicate that heating the sample at a speed of 5℃/min and sintering the sample at 1100℃ in the second step, then the sample can form smooth and very dense. The result indicates that two-step process can improve the surface qualityof CeO2 buffer layer.
