Abstract:The characteristics and development of arc spraying technology were briefly reviewed. The arc spraying technology was compared with the other thermal spraying technologies in the ways of coating performance and so on.
The latest situation of research and development of the cored wires for arc spraying was summarized. The applications of this cored wires to preparations of composite metal ceramics coating, nanoscale coating and amorphous coating was also forcast.
