Abstract: Laser manufacturing technology is a kind of green manufacturing technology which is full of potential for development of high flexibility． Describes applications of laser technology in different areas，different manufacturing process including laser weld-ing，laser cladding and laser surface alloying，laser quenching，laser surface modification，laser cutting，laser rapid forming，laser drilling，laser nanometer manufacturing，and prospects the research and development tend of laser manufacturing technology．
