Abstract: General development situation of arc spraying process for rapid tooling was summarized;and problems in applying refractory metal to the spraying process were analyzed. Experimental research shows that coating of conformal metal net on master model, auxiliary spraying, intermittent spraying and compound spraying are effective in applying refractory metal to arc spraying for rapid tooling.
