Abstract：Elaborated in the article are the present situations of development of the bimetallic pipe both at home and abroad， and the manufacturing process flows of different tube cladding technologies， and the advantages and disadvantages of each of them. Also discussed in details is the metallurgical fusion technology with the centrifugal casting process， focusing on the technological superiority， innovativity， and application types， etc. Meanwhile，the common defects staying with the centrifugally-cast clad tube are analyzed， and preventative actions are in turn proposed. Moreover，the development prospect and research trend of this bimetallic pipe-making technology are forecast.
