Abstract: Based on problem of friction and squeezing damage between the matching cylinder surface of ball pressurizing mechanism used in dry disc brake,processes of making Ni-graphite coating using oxygen-acetylene flame on the cylindrical surface of ball pressurizing mechanism were proposed. Hardness,bonding strength and micro-morphology of different processes were compared,and the optimal processes were determined. The friction test and dusty environment test show that,the coating has the function of antifriction and wear resistantance,furthermore,as the coating which could self-adapt to the matching surface,it behaves favorable performance for sealing.
