Abstract Thermal protection(350℃to 400℃) materials on supersonic aircrafts are studied in this paper.Theoretical analysis and experimental results showthat lowtemperature volatile coatingwith organosilicone epoxy resin as matrix and Al(OH)3,H3BO3etc as fillers is a kind of ideal materials for thermal protection at service temperature of 350℃to 400℃.
