The micromorphology of coatings was observed using SEM (QUANTA FEG 250, USA). The X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns of coatings were analyzed on the coating surface by using the Rigaku DMAX-2500PC diffractometer and Cu-Karadiation over an angular range of 20° ≤2θ ≤ 90°. The porosity was analyzed by randomly selecting ten representative SEM images (without serious defects, such as cracks) from each coating. The threshold segmentation of the metallographic photos was conducted using the Photoshop CS6. The porosity was calculated by counting the pixel area of pore and nonpore areas by using the Image-Pro Plus. The microhardness of the cross section was tested using the Vickers hardness tester (MH-6, China) at a load of 300 g (10 s). The measured points with a spacing of 50 um along the vertical direction of the interface are shown in Fig. 1.
