Abstract: High velocity arc spraying has been widely used in recent years． To enhance the bonding strength between spray coating and substrate，researchers mainly focus on the study of the new spraying materials． Through the analysis of high velocity arc spraying operation process，this article proposes that，the improvement of preprocessing also has a great effect on enhancing the the above-mentioned bonding strength and the optimal preprocessing parameters is obtained by experiments．
