Abstract: Chromuium － free Zn － Al alloy coating as a new“Green Plating Technology”became a promising surface treatment technology for its better protective performance，permeability and thermostability． The development of chromui-um － free Zn － Al alloy coating with an emphasis on chromuium－free passivators and organic films formers were summa-rized both at home and abroad．
