Abstract: Remanufacturing iron casting includes defect amending and casting modification． It is well known that the usage of iron casting is much higher than the steel casting in manufacturing sector，and the defect occurring in iron casting are much more than that in the steel casting． The traditional manufacturing technique could not exploring the full potential of i-ron casting． Therefore，the laser remanufacturing technique for iron casting is technically and commercially significant．
