Preparation of Super hydrophobic Coating on Aluminum Alloy with Its Anti-Corrosion Property

  Abstract:Based on the cooperation of the fluorated polyurethane and nanosilicon oxide,super hydrophobic coating was successfully fabricated on the surface of aluminium alloy. The super hydrophobic coating was characterized and investigated by FT-IR、SEM and electro chemical measurement. The FT-IR result showed that silane coupling reagent(A1100) was grafted on the surface of the nano-disilicon oxide. Scanning electronic microscopy(SEM) and optical contact anglemeter(θ)indicated that rough structure was present on the surface of the coating, and the contact angle could reach up to 156°with slidingangle smaller than 5°. The results of electro chemical measurements (EIS and polarization curve) showed that anti-corrosion property of aluminium alloy was greatly improved.
