Abstract:The technology of Ni-WC coating solder coating on low-carbon steel by gas protection was studied. Taking Ni60 as the base of composite with different percentage of WC such as 5%,15%, 25%, taking low-carbon steel (Q235) as base metal, abrasive wear test, hardness testing, metallographic observation and scanning electron microscopy observation were carried out to testify the quality of coating. The results show that: WC particles added in the coating can increase alloy coating hardness and abrasion resistance significantly, but they are not a linear relationship; when WC in Ni60 alloy is 15% (mass fraction), hardness and wear resistance are the highest values. More than 15%, the hardness and wear resistance decline.
