Research on Technical Parameters Optimization for Plasma Spray Coating

  Abstract: In order to improve densification of coating and reduce its residual stress for plasma spray,forging technology of coating was proposed. Taking bonding strength and porosity as objective function,choosing forging temperatures, forging times and blow energy as the variable of forging parameters, optimum design of forging technology parameters in the plasma spray coating was done by orthogonal design, so the relationship among primary and secondary factors was determined, and the optimization forging technology parameters were obtained. The verifiable experiment of forging technology was also done. Under the angle of erosion attack that is 30° and 90°, erosion contrast experiment with forging specimens and without forging specimens was done. The results prove that the resistance to erosion of the spray coatings prepared by forging technology is better than without forging specimens.
