Abstract: Plasma method is widely used in spherical /densified-powders’preparation，the spherical /densified-pow-der obtained by this mean possesses the characteristics of good sphericity，high purity and narrow size distribution，and etc． The principles and characteristics of different plasma technologies are introduced，and current research situ-ation and their problems are analyzed． Meanwhile，the development trend of plasma technology in preparation of spherical / densified － powder is prospected．
